Pastor Bob Parikh was born and raised in India as a Hindu from a high caste. In spite of his religious upbringing, he could not reconcile the concept of the many gods and goddesses and the theory of karma and reincarnation. In his search for Truth and the true God, he traveled all over India to many holy places and had personal meetings with the highest Hindu gurus for guidance and answers to his spiritual quest. These only left him disappointed, going away empty handed with no answer and no hope of eternal life. His active search led him to many places, temples, and gurus. His search for the basic questions of life – “Where did I come from? Where am I going? What am I doing here?” and his search for the one true God led him to make a promise to God to surrender his life to Him if God would show him who He is.

Bob came to the United States to do his post graduate work in architecture, but the Lord had different plans for his life and answered his childhood prayers of revealing the one true God. He received Jesus Christ as his personal Lord & Savior in Houston, TX.

Pastor Bob is a graduate of Baptist Bible Graduate School of Theology in Springfield, Missouri. He has been a church planter and a senior pastor in Illinois. In his almost 30 years of ministry he has preached revivals, mission conferences, and trained pastors/church leaders in America, Dubai, and India. His passion is soul winning and teaching the Word of God faithfully and uncompromisingly.

He has been serving as a Senior Pastor at our church since 2000. We regularly see souls receive Christ as their personal Lord and Savior and get baptized. Our vision is to reach Lake County with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and transform our world. We believe that the Word of God has the answers for the challenges we face today and can transform lives. We believe every child of God is entrusted by God with some gift that he or she can use for His glory and the edification of His church. We believe “every saint is a minister.” Only disciples, not merely Christians, can make a difference and make an impact in our culture. If you are looking for a place to be loved, accepted and be a part of God’s loving, eternal family and carry out the Great Commission, we’d like to invite you to worship with us.
